Coffee Time Week 6

So today was International Coffee Day. I’ve five amazing coffees to share with you.

Finca La Soledad (Guatemala)

Hasbean Logo

This has been a favourite roaster of mine for a while now.

Ever since I featured Hasbean in my Father’s Day Gift Guide.

This is one of Hasbean best. A beautiful smooth blend. With no bitterness at all.

There are rich chocolate and cream flavours that make this a wonderful coffee.

Ringbolt Coffee

Mountain Blend (Brazilian, Sumatran and Central American)

This is a beautiful smooth blend from Ringbolt Coffee.

So smooth you can enjoy this blend anytime. Not just on International Coffee Day.

It goes as well with breakfast as it does on its own mid morning.

10% of the cost of every bag goes is donated to mind.

Dear Green

Goosedubbs (Colombia, Brazil, Guatemala)

I tried Dear Green Goosedubbs for the first time this morning.

Oh my.

The aroma when I first opened the bag was amazing. I stood smelling the beans for about five minutes.

I don’t think my French Press did this blend justice.

It was full of flavour, rich, smooth and chocolatey.

I was so taken by it that its all I’ve been drinking all International Coffee Day.

Dark Roast (Brazil)

Another great all round coffee. This time from Meastelo that can be enjoyed at any time of the day and with any accompaniment.

A lovely sweet aftertaste without a hint of bitterness.

There is a lovely rich aroma that fills the room.

I’ve found this blend tastes best with just a splash of milk or on its own.

Sipi Falls (Uganda)

I received this roast in a Dog & Hat subscription box. Full review will be coming shortly.

This is an amazing roast.

I took a rather large cup with me on Saturday to Buddy’s rugby match in my Sideline Survival Kit.

It kept me warm and with the subtle notes of chocolate and lime was aa joy to drink.

Whilst researching them for this post I discovered something even more amazing.

Each bag bears the name of the person who roasted it.

Mine was roasted by Eva. Please do click the link to read her story.

If I’m ever in Cardiff I will be trying to arrange a trip to visit the amazing people behind this brand.

Whatever coffee you are drinking. Every day is International Coffee Day.
